The Treasure Hunt was the most fun way to discover the diverse location of Marupe near the city of Riga. On our first day at school, we were divided into teams and we went hunting for the Treasure of European Values. We were given maps of Marupe and clues that would lead us to the big treasure.
It was a really enjoyable and interesting experience, because we got to learn about each other in a creative way and we had much fun doing so. Teamwork was important in order to find all the clues that would lead us to the Treasure. However, we were also able to enjoy the beautiful area of Marupe.
This activity enabled us to learn about different cultures, focusing on our similarities as well as our differences. We walked all around the city, because of the great weather, having fun and communicating with each other, making new friends. We also got the chance to learn new words from many different languages and improve our English.
In conclusion, the Treasure Hunt was a fun way to meet different cultures, learn to cooperate and rely on each other for the same cause and one of the most entertaining experiences from our journey to Latvia.
